Made entirely from graphite with a lacquer coating to keep your hands clean, Progresso woodless aquarelle graphite sticks contain 5 times more graphite than traditional pencils.

The graphite glides smoothly across paper and can lay down rich, deep tones whether used on its point or on its side. The graphite can also be blended with water for a wider range of effects.

This stick can be sharpened with a regular sharpener but be sure to keep the shavings which can also be used to smudge and shade.

We recommend finishing with a fixative to prevent your graphite artworks from smudging.
