With an even, matt, velvet-like finish Schmincke Akademie gouache come in a wide range of highly lightfast and opaque colours. 

Use these fine artists’ gouache straight from the tube for intense opaque colour or increase the flow by thinning with water for finer detail and watercolour-like effects. Once dry, these colours can be overpainted in glazes or rewetted for further use.

Best used on absorbent surfaces like paper and cardboard.
