Handmade traditionally with a high concentration of the finest art pigments and minimum amount of binder, Schmincke pastels are buttery soft to apply with an intense colour strength.

The wide variety of lightfast colours and tones range from pure colour (D), black graduation (B) and 3 white graduations (H, M and O).
